Here are the steps to success.
If you have a blog already or not, this is vital information. I believe everyone should have a blog because of RSS and the benefits of constant updating content on your site.

#1 -Setup the Blog

I recommend Wordpress and hosting it yourself. I use a whole bunch of plugins (I will post the top plugins soon) to make my life easier and simple free templates will do the trick with a little tweaking. If you don’t know how to set it up. Go to the Warrior Forum and get it done for you from one of the many web experts. Get a custom logo done or even a custom blog. You can even get the articles written for you at sites like elance.com!
#2 -Create Quality Content

Write quality content in your niche. Usually the error is made in not coming up with the goals of what you want to accomplish for your blog. Set yourself with reachable goals and be consistent with your blog.

You need to produce the right type of good content. Make content that your target audience will benefit from and want to come back for more. You need to give information, information, and more information!

Enhance the lives of your readers. After reading your blog, they should feel good and informed. Your goal is to make a very targeted niche and focus on getting an target audience that is looking for that specific topic.

The blogger must create a blog where people want to keep coming back again and again where it was found by word of mouth or a search engine result.

#3 – Promote your blog on small communication channels

Small Results (You need to do a lot of this)

  • Posting Comments on Blogs & Forums (10 / Day minimum)
  • Article Posting (Do research on the keyword of your title before hand)
  • Pinging (Pingoat.com – Sends out your RSS to the world)
  • Social Networking (Drive people to your best articles and build relationships)
  • Submitting to Directories / Search Engines (Do SEO for certain keywords; build your backlinks)

Notes: You want to focus on getting a good group of readers first before worrying about making big traffic. The key is to understand your reader. Know what they like and will buy. Get feedback from them if you don’t know your niche well enough yourself.

By this time, your blog will be looking nice, having some readers, and getting a modest amount of traffic. Now, it’s time to turn on the flood of traffic!

#4 – Get a flood of traffic to your site

  • Spend Money on Advertising (Be smart – Find areas where your targeted audience will be)
  • Get on TV or get your blog posted on a well known site
  • Find someone with a huge subscriber list to talk about your blog.
  • Podcasting Interviews – Have a top blogger do the interview and ask them questions. Not only will you learn and build a relationship with this top blogger, you will have a windfall of new traffic from that blogger when they talk about the interview on their site.

Notes: This will take time and patience. Don’t give up!  It’s much easier to build traffic once you have thousands of people subscribed to your blog. They will be posting your content all over the web and by word of mouth alone you will build a following of readers.

Eventually, your efforts will pay off and someone will give you big exposure.

#5 – Monetize!

  • Set up a free report or tool such as my 110 Free Traffic Tips Report.
  • Offer a great quality backend product after the reader takes advantage of your free report or tool.This is the best way to presell your customer which is extremely vital.
  • Post reviews of top quality products in your niche that you can endorsed for your readers to check out. Such as Twitter Snipe or Twitter Traffic Exposed – Both Tools I personally endorsed and have used.
  • Offer ad space and charge by the month.
  • Adsense and other ad sources.
  • Offer top products with recurring income to your readers Example – Aweber has a recurring commission for every referral.

There are more 1,000 free traffic tips I could give you, but I’m going to give you just five free traffic tips that I constantly use to build my traffic.

#1 Free Traffic Tip – Use Social Networking – Twitter and Facebook – Don’t sell on here – provide rich content from your blog or articles which then will in turn sell your newsletter or product/service. Build relationships with potential clients and customers. Find people to network with and possibly go into business with or learn from. Use sites like Youtube and Viddler to post video. Use it on your sites as much as possible. Video traffic is getting more than 50% of traffic on the net! Use this to your advantage :)

#2 Free Traffic Tip – Article Submission – It takes time and patience, but it’s worth it. Find niche keywords online you want to target to drive people to your articles and then to your site. Write hundreds and you will be on your way to the top! Search engines love Squidoo and Ezines and also will build your sites PR everytime you post your link of your website in your signature.

#3 Free Traffic Tip – Use Linking to Boost Organic Search Results – Use backlinks. Link away to edu and gov sites. Your link should be posted on sites that have a good relationship with google in pagerank. Make sure your link on their page is a dofollow or it won’t do anything for you. Get on forums and your signature should have your link. Add Adsense to your site; google will list you better!

#4 Free Traffic Tip – Free Classified – Gumtree, Craigslist,freeclassified.com are great sites to list your site for free! Great for small or local businesses.

#5 Free Traffic Tip – Yahoo Groups & Answers – Make your own group, post in an existing group. Thousands of people are getting on here daily looking for information. Give it to them! I know of individuals getting 1,000 hits a day by primarly using this method.

#6 Paid Traffic Tip – PPC – It’s quick and fast and if you know what you are doing, you can literally get as much traffic as you want and make as much money as you want. Learn how to do it properly first and start small so you don’t lose too much money. Find keywords where most people searching are ready to buy. Stick to a small budget first and go for the highest CTR as possible. You will get cheaper rates the higher your CTR becomes.

#7 Paid Traffic Tip – Ezines / Solo Ads – One of the oldest and most effective ways to generate traffic. Write some good headlines and email copy to prospective customers and drive hundreds of visitors in just under a week. Most ads run under $100. Also, there are list sites such as viral url and listjoe that are free to join and provide great value with their upgrade packages. I am having success right now with the upgraded version of viral url.

#8 Paid Traffic Tip – Borrow Someone’s List – Similiar to a Solo Ad where you locate people who will let you email their list for a price.

#9 Paid Traffic Tip – JV – Do a joint venture and have other people promote your stuff for an affiliate commission. This could be the easiest way to make money if you are willing to put the time in to create the product or service and set up the affiliate program.

#10 Free Traffic Tip – Viral Marketing – Create a buzz in the community. Get creative; make videos or a game where people will want to spread it by word of mouth like wildfire.

Double Opt In Leads

First of all, we need to know what are double opt in leads? Simply put when someone types in an email address is clicks sign up on a webpage; their information is sent to a subscription service like aweber or getresponse. Then, the service sends the person a confirmation email giving a link to double confirm into the subscription. This ensures that the person did actually want to sign up on this list and it’s not a mistake. A single opt in would just the same thing except without the confirmation email.

90% of spam complaints come from single opt in lists. This obviously makes the double opt in lists very safe for the person using the list and there will be few spam complaints. The disadvantage of the double opt in leads is that they will be a large amount of people that will never opt in at all. Double Opt In Leads are also much more valuable since they are more sorted than the single. Double opt in leads will also sell for more per lead if you plan on selling your list.

It’s the webmaster’s decision ultimately. You can try single opt in leads then go for double opt in leads if you are receiving spam complaints. That’s my strategy. If you are building an enormous list, you probably will want to get double opt in leads, but everyone has their own opinion.
